How to Easily Incorporate Text Boxes in Google Docs
Google Docs offers a wide range of useful features for marketers, including the option to add text boxes to your document. 1. Utilize the Drawing Tool
To insert a text box in Google Docs, first click on the "Insert" tab in the toolbar. From the dropdown menu, select "Drawing" and then "New." This will open a checkered screen where you can draw your desired text box.
2. Click on the Text Box Icon
In the Drawing tool screen, click on the "text box" icon on the toolbar. It resembles a small box with a letter T inside. This will enable you to draw a text box within the checkered screen.
3. Draw and Type Away
Click and drag your cursor on the checkered screen to create the desired shape for your text box. You can also adjust the size of the box by dragging its corners. Then, simply type in your text.
4. Personalize the Text Box
Once your text box is created, you can further personalize it by utilizing the paint bucket icon to change the background color and the pencil icon to adjust the border color. Play around with these options until you are satisfied with the appearance of your text box.
5. Save and Close
When you are content with your text box, click on the "Save & Close" button. This will add the text box to your document.
6. Rearrange and Resize
If you need to relocate the text box to a different spot in your document, simply click and drag it to the desired location. To resize it, drag its corners to make it larger or smaller.
