Shiken

Find and share a meeting or note

Find a meeting's transcript and summary in Notes, then share it by link or with your organisation.

  1. Go to Notes (/notes).
  2. Press Meeting notes, or type in Search notes....
  3. Open the meeting.
  4. Read the Summary tab, or open Transcript for the full text.
  5. Press Share at the top of the note.
  6. Choose who can open it: Anyone with the link, Anyone in your organization or Only people you invite.
  7. Press Copy link.

The link icon next to Share copies the share link in one click. Ordinary notes have the same Share button.

What the link shows: someone opening a meeting link can read its summary and transcript, and any highlights, without a Shiken account unless you restrict it.

Options in the Share dialog

  • Require email to view asks viewers for their email address first.
  • Show Shiken banner shows or hides the Shiken banner.
  • The Embed tab appears for meetings with a video, and gives code for your website.

Only people you invite turns the public link off. The dialog has no field for adding people, so use this setting to keep a note private.

Sharing with teammates: on a meeting note, turn on Share with organization to let teammates see it. They find shared notes under Team notes on /notes.

The full meetings library for an organisation is for admins and owners. Everyone else finds their own meetings in Notes.

A meeting where someone opted out of recording is restricted, so it stays out of the team library.
