Add files and links to your knowledge
Upload documents and audio, or add web pages, to your Knowledge Bank, with the file types it accepts today.
- Go to Library (
/library?tab=knowledge) and open the Knowledge Bank tab. - Press Upload Docs.
- Stay on File Upload and choose a file.
- Check the Title, and add a Description if you want one.
- Press Upload & Process.
To add web pages instead: press Add URL on the same tab, paste one address or several separated by spaces (up to 20 at a time), and confirm. A YouTube link adds that video's transcript.
File types this dialog accepts
- Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT and MD, up to 50 MB.
- Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, WEBM and FLAC, up to 25 MB. Audio is transcribed.
Not accepted here: video files, PowerPoint files and spreadsheets. The file picker may list XLSX, XLSM, CSV and TSV, but the dialog refuses them. Legacy .xls files are not supported anywhere.
Links that do not work: Notion and Google Docs or Drive links are refused because those pages sit behind a login. An organisation admin can connect those services instead.
A new item shows a status while it is processed. Each item has a switch that controls whether the assistant can use it, and a menu with delete.
You can also drop a file onto a chat at /chat. Documents dropped there are saved to your knowledge base as well.
Your plan can limit how many sources you can add. The tab shows your count, and Limit reached appears when you are at the limit.
