Generate a course from your sources with AI

Turn documents, links or a topic into a draft course, review the outline, and then publish it.

  1. Press Create in the top bar and choose COURSE.
  2. Press Add Resource and add at least one source: Course Topic, Add Text, Add Link, Upload File, Upload Video/Audio, From Library or From Notes.
  3. Choose how closely to follow your material: Verbatim, Faithful or Creative.
  4. Set the Chapters slider. The far-left stop is Auto.
  5. Add Learning objectives if you have them, one per line.
  6. Set Expertise Level, Training Type and Language.
  7. Leave Review before creating switched on and press Generate Course.
  8. Edit the title, description, objectives and chapters in the outline.
  9. Press Create Course.
  10. When the course has built, open it from Content (/org/{slug}/admin/content), check it, and press Publish.

This is the Course form in the Create window. It is available to organisation admins on every package.

Verbatim keeps your material's headings, wording and order. Faithful reorganises it for teaching and adds nothing from outside it. Creative expands it with examples and general knowledge.

If you leave before confirming, the outline is kept. The course shows Outline ready in Content, and Review outline reopens it.

You can start editing while the course builds: chapters and lessons appear in the editor as they are ready. Generated courses stay in Draft until you publish them.

From SCORM in the same menu is different. It reuses a package's own pages and questions word for word.

There is also a prompt route on packages that include creating content with the assistant. In the Create window press Try new Create, describe the course, attach files, and press Start. The assistant asks a couple of questions, shows an outline, then builds it. On the LMS/LXP base package, the Course form is the only route.

Google Drive is not a source option in the Course form. Download the file and use Upload File.
