Video watch time and viewing analytics

Where to see watch time, completion and drop-off for videos.

Yes — Shiken records how learners watch videos: watch time (seconds actually played, seeks excluded), completion (90% or the end), a 20-point retention / drop-off curve across the timeline, and for interactive videos every hotspot click, branch choice and question answer. Where to see it: for an uploaded or linked Video, open it from Admin → Content and the editor shows how many people started it and how many watched it; for AI videos and interactive videos, open the editor and click Analytics (a side panel with views, unique viewers, completion rate, average watch time, the retention curve, a steps-reached funnel and an interactions table); a learning path's Analytics tab shows per-step completion including its videos. The Report builder's Learning dataset gives completion status, completion date and score per learner but has no watch-time column — ask this assistant for a video's watch analytics instead (it can read them for any video in the organisation).
