Character cannot hear me / avatar or audio problems

What to check when the character cannot hear you or the avatar freezes.

First check the browser's microphone permission (padlock icon in the address bar) and that the correct microphone is selected in the session's device settings. If the avatar freezes or goes silent, refreshing the page and rejoining the session recovers it. Sessions shorter than a couple of exchanges end without a score — that is expected, not an error.
