Create a poll or survey

Create a poll by hand or with AI, add question types, and share it or present it live.

1. Press Create in the top bar and choose POLL / SURVEY.
2. Press Add Resource.
3. To write it yourself, choose Blank Poll and go to step 6.
4. To use AI, add a source such as Poll Topic. Then set Questions (up to 20), Template and Language.
5. Press Generate Poll. The poll builds in Content. Open it when it is ready.
6. In the editor at /org/{slug}/admin/products/{id}/questions, open the Questions tab.
7. Press Add Question.
8. Choose a Poll Question Type: Multiple Choice, Word Cloud or Scale / Rating.
9. Set Allow anonymous responses, Show results after voting and Shuffle options under Poll Settings.
10. Press Share at the top, then Copy Survey Link or Present Live.

You need to be an admin of your organisation. Polls are part of every package.

The Overview tab holds the intro shown before people start. The Design tab sets how the poll looks.

A draft poll's link only works for signed-in members of your organisation. Other people see "Poll not found". Polls start as drafts, and the poll editor has no Publish button. To publish, take the poll's id from the editor address and open /polls/{id}. Then press Publish. You need at least one question. Once published, anyone with the link can respond at /polls/{id}/respond.

If you switch off Allow anonymous responses, respondents are asked to sign in so their answers are attributed to them.

Polls have no correct answers, so answer options are not marked right or wrong.
