Do you send a bot into my meeting?
Your choice. Shiken supports a calendar-connected bot that joins Zoom, Meet or Teams for you, or bot-free recording using your computer audio — great for privacy-sensitive calls or in-person meetings.
What happens if my connection drops mid-recording?
Nothing you have to worry about. Shiken captures locally and uploads in the background — if your network blips, the recording keeps going and finishes uploading once you're back online. You don't need to retry a recording.
Can I edit the video, not just the notes?
Yes. The in-app editor lets you trim, split and stitch clips, and one-click buttons remove filler words and silence using word-level timestamps. No third-party editor needed.
Can I edit my meeting notes?
Yes. Unlike pure AI note-takers, Shiken is an AI notepad — you can jot notes during the call, edit freely after, and ask AI to tidy, translate or restructure anything.
Can I search across all my meetings?
Yes — that's AskShiken. Ask any natural-language question across your notes and transcripts ("what did they say about pricing?", "pull every objection from this month") and you'll get an answer with deep links back to the exact moment in the meeting.
Which CRMs does Shiken sync with?
